Guidelines for Contributions

Even though we are open to anything we would like to give you some guidelines regarding work we are accepting. We reserve the right to reject images if we feel will not be of any value to our customers.

General

• Images have to be at least 3.5 MP
• Scanned images must have 300 dpi and the dimensions of at least A5
• We accept JPG and TIFF format for photos and JPG and EPS for illustrations
• Images can not be compressed
• Make sure you are in possession of a model release where necessary
• No images of abusive, illegal, defamatory, libelous, or pornographic nature
• Images can not be offered on another image library
• All submissions are subject to approval by calla PHOTO

Aesthetics

• Sharp
• Keep objects clear of distracting backgrounds
• Focus on the main object
• No blurry, under and overexposed photos
• No cut off objects
• Not manipulated with a photo editing program
• Well balanced contrasts
• Not over- or underexposed
• No red-eye
